The establishment of the BBS in 2000 through
the initiative of 16 business women, with a
membership of 115 ladies and its organising of
more than 1000 local and international business
events is a clear indication of the pivotal role
played by the Society with the objective to
elevate the name of Bahrain in all economic
activities specially in matters related to
businesswomen. The Society has also empowered
women and strengthened their role in all business
activities by supporting them to participate in all
management boards in the chamber of commerce,
