engineer with a master's degree in architecture from the University of Kent, UK, a university
professor and board member of the Industrial Committee of the University of the Kingdom,
a member of the Professional Advisory Committee for University of Bahrain. Winner of the
International Award for Best Architectural Design for Traditional Houses using modern

systems. Participated in more than one working paper on renewable energy and
environmentally friendly buildings. Has a degree in international arbitration for disputes.
Founder and CEO of NJ Engineering firm of architectural design and supervision of
construction. A board member of association of Engineering offices of Bahrain and a member
of Bahrain business women society.

Eng. Noor Al Mutawa aspires through her work to move the urban experience in Bahrain from
limiting the culture of construction to proper specifications, from design to completion of
construction limited to specialists in the field of construction until it is a general culture of
the individual and society through which the individual guarantees his right to the best
services The State guarantees its right to maintain the safety of its members and its right to
abide by the laws it pursues for the common good and to bring us all to an environmental
system and a dignified urban façade. Moving in the direction of transferring the voice of

women in the field of construction and engineering to the world and local economy in the
