His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the Shura Council, the Municipal Council and
the Supreme Council for Women.

BBS members have joined the Bahraini parliament and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce
and Industry by election. Some of the members also reached the boards of directors of

private and governmental companies, such as Economic Development Board; Bahrain
Tourism and Exhibition Authority; Tamkeen; BBK; Flour Mills Company and Bahrain Radio
Company.

Some of the society's members have won international awards, which is an honor for the
Bahraini Businesswomen's Society and for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

We are proud and would like to congratulate BBS members for their achievements by

opening many new projects and developing their current activities in recent years.

We wish more achievements, success and development for our members.

I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Her Highness Shaikha Thajba bint
Salman Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Society for her continuous support to the
Society.
