Message from the President
On behalf of Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society, I extend my thanks,
gratitude to the wise leadership for their unprecedented support in
all fields to raise the status of Bahraini women and open up prospects
for progress and full participation for them, and their integration into
the Kingdom’s reform project; To achieve sustainable development,
according to specific plans and programs that contributed to
highlighting its position and representation, and defending its
interests and gains in local, regional and international forums.
This year was a distinguished year in which BBS was able to organize many events, 73 virtual
events during the period of the Covid-19 crisis, and after the crisis was contained, the events
were organized through personal attendance, including several MOUs signed with many local
and international organizations.
BBS members participated in nearly fifty local and international events and conferences.
BBS also participated with its members in their various activities to support them in their own
commercial activities.
We launched the revamped version of the society's official website at Al Naseem
International School organized by the Training & Technology Committee headed by Sameera
Al Kooheji, some of the new features in the updated website are the subscription to get BBS
news and events and the online membership registration.
We are proud of the performance that has been achieved during the current year 2021, and
the Society and its members have made many achievements that contribute to the
development and strengthening of the role of Bahraini women and their contribution to all
commercial, economic and investment activities under the reform project of His Majesty King
Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Bahrain’s Economic Vision.
BBS members work to achieve goals and achievements that contribute to the development
and strengthening of the role of Bahraini women and their contribution to all commercial,
economic and investment activities Which came from the wise vision of His Majesty King
Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King The Kingdom of Bahrain, and the support of His Royal Highness
Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, and the goals of Vision 2030 to raise the
share of their representation in the boards of directors of economic institutions, investment
and public companies and other institutions of economic concern.
Several members of the Society have been appointed to decision-making role in the Kingdom
of Bahrain with a royal appointment issued by
