Signing Memorandum of Understanding with Local and
International Organizations
With IBWG
Sunday, May 8, 2021 - In a step forward for women across the region, the International Business Women
Group (IBWG) has entered into a formal partnership with Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society. This new
agreement was concluded in an effort to help both parties achieve their common goals of supporting and
enhancing the status of professional women throughout the region.
The terms of partnership and cooperation were signed recently through the signing of a memorandum of
understanding, and this came through a virtual meeting and interaction between the two organizations in
order to empower the role of women and consolidate their relationship in the current and future period.
The signing ceremony was attended by board members from both sides, as well as ambassadors of the
Global Businesswomen Group, including Mr. Ali Al-Janabi, Chairman of the Shell Group of Companies in the
United Arab Emirates, and Mr. John McGowan from Global Advocates and Legal Consultants.
With Saar Mall
Monday, April 26, 2021 – Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society, headed by Ahlam Janahi, signed a memorandum
of understanding with Saar Mall.
The signing took place between BBS President Ahlam Janahi and Saar Mall General Manager Esmahan
Bokhowa, on behalf of Mr. Hassan Bokhowa.
