Thanks and Gratitude to Bahrain’s Wise leadership

BBS would like to take this opportunity to thank HM the King of Bahrain King Hamad bin Isa
Al Khalifa, HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH the Crown
Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HRH Princess
Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council
for Womem (SCW) for their leadership and directives that reflected that the health and well-
being of the citizens and residents of Bahrain were their first consideration and priority.
As it has been the case globally, Bahrain is affected by COVID-19, but has taken swift and
decisive action to try to minimize the impact on us as individuals and the business community.
Bahrain has set up a dedicated National Taskforce to tackle the spread of the virus and was
also the first Arab country to join the Solidarity Trial to find effective treatment for the virus.
From the business perspective, and as part of the response the government of Bahrain
continue to support us through a comprehensive US$11.4bn economic stimulus package.

To complement the economic stimulus package, the Supreme Council for Women also
launched “ #Together_for_Bahrain_Safety” campaign which coordinated the payments
of debts and sums of money owed by Bahraini women who received judicial verdicts
hence further alleviating the burdens off their shoulders.

By extending these initiatives to those most affected, HM the King and the government of
Bahrain has minimised the impact on us as citizens and the business community.
