Major Events and Beyond:

Bahrain Businesswomen Economic Committee organized a workshop on “Benefit” technology
and its method of use and work in institutions and companies, Monday 27th January 2020. The
workshop was presented by Professor Sheikha Jamal, responsible for marketing in “Benefit
Bahrain” in collaboration with the Bahraini Bankers Association. Professor Sheikha explained
that the national electronic wallet service for smart phones in the Kingdom (BenefitPay) as
a program to facilitate payments by allowing customers and merchants alike to carry out
payment transactions without the need to carry bank notes or cards.

Under the patronage of H.E Sheikha Thajba Bint Salman Al Khalifa, a dinner party held
for the occasion of Bahrain Women’s Day and the National day, at Jumeirah Royal Saray,
Wednesday 11 December 2019. This year the Supreme Council for Women theme was
“Education.” The society awarded Mrs. Sameera Al Kooheji and Dr. Fatima Al Kooheji for
their outstanding achievements in education investment in Bahrain.
