Major Events and Beyond:
The Supreme Council for Women launched a nation wide awareness campaign
#Together_for_Bahrain_ Safety (Mutkatfeen) as part of the national efforts to combat
the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). The purpose is to support Bahraini women and families,
focusing on their economic and health conditions. Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society has
participated in this campaign through its various members either by monetary contributions
or providing mentoring and advisory expertise for women-owned businesses during this
pandemic crisis.
Bahrain Businesswomen Social Committee organized a workshop on “choice theory”
in cooperation with the Founder and CEO of the William Glaser Institute – Bahrain,
Shaikha Fajer Bint Ali Al Khalifa. The workshop was presented by psychologist Dr. Farida
Desviladias, Saturday 22nd February 2020. The workshop comes within the role of the
educational institute in cooperation with the Bahrain Businesswomen to raise the level
of trust and public awareness between individuals and institutions about the culture of
choice and effective behavior.
