Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society was founded to empower women in business, strengthen their leadership role and support their contribution to Bahrain’s economy.
Founded in 2000 by 16 visionary Bahraini businesswomen, Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society became the first professional organization dedicated to businesswomen in the GCC.
Since its establishment, BBWS has played a pioneering role in empowering women, supporting entrepreneurship and strengthening women’s participation in Bahrain’s commercial and investment landscape.
BBWS continues to evolve as a platform for businesswomen, entrepreneurs, professionals and future leaders.
BBWS was founded by 16 Bahraini businesswomen with a shared vision to create a professional platform for women in business.
The Society grew into a respected business network, connecting members with institutions, companies and regional partners.
BBWS strengthened its role in promoting entrepreneurship, leadership, visibility and business development for women.
Today, BBWS continues to support women through events, partnerships, mentorship, representation and professional opportunities.
