Wednesday, February 17, 2021 - The Office of Investment and Technology Promotion of the United Nations
Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in the Kingdom of Bahrain launched the Creative Entrepreneurs
Initiative, under the patronage of the office head, Dr. Hashem Hussain, and in the presence of H.E MP and
President of the Bahrain Society for Small Enterprise Development Ahmed Sabah Al Saloom and Bahrain
Innovation Society President Mr. Osama Al Khaja as the launching of the initiative included the opening of
an art exhibition for Bahraini Businesswoman & Former BBS board Member Nawal Al-Sabbagh.

UNIDO named Nawal Al Sabbagh a creative entrepreneur in the field of creativity to be a global initiative
of the Bahraini model of entrepreneurship and innovation in order to enable talented and creative people
to develop their creativity for a commercial project. Nawal confirmed that art is an integral part of her life
since childhood and she has many exhibitions and is a member of the Bahrain Arts Society and her recently
opened exhibition included several topics such as Bahraini traditions, symbolism and human relations, in
addition to astronomical paintings of the signs, she is proud that some of her exhibition paintings were sold
before its opening.
